About This Chapter
The INCOSE New England chapter is a volunteer organization of working professionals who enjoy sharing and promoting the profession of Systems Engineering, while serving members in the following states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. This chapter works to help bridge together systems engineering from all over the New England region across multiple different fields and domains, such as energy, transport, aerospace, aviation, marine, defense, and healthcare. In conjunction with these objectives, this chapter is specifically equipped to uphold these objectives due to the wealth and variety in terms of industry, academic, and professional-based specialties and resources that are encased within the region.
The objectives of the INCOSE New England Chapter are to provide a focal point for dissemination of systems engineering knowledge, and through its involvement with the Council to:

Promote collaboration in systems engineering education and research;

Assure the establishment of professional standards for integrity in the practice of systems engineering;

Improve the professional status of all persons engaged in the practice of systems engineering;

Encourage governmental and industrial support for research and educational programs that will improve the systems engineering process and its practice; and

Promote INCOSE New England Chapter activities with industry, government and academia within the geographical area of INCOSE New England Chapter.
